1

Curated in Hyderabad. Paddles ship in 2-4 working days.

A 16-inch hybrid that splits the difference between reach and forgiveness. Long enough to defend a lob, wide enough that a mis-hit still lands where you meant it. Raw T700 carbon is pressed over a 16mm polypropylene core and thermoformed into a unibody edge. The face carries the Qutb Shahi rosette, lifted from the carved ceiling of the tombs north of Golconda: an eight-point star repeating out to the edge, four hundred years old and, as it turns out, exactly the geometry a paddle face wants. It is etched into the peel-ply rather than printed on, so it grips the ball and wears in rather than out.

How it is built

Every part of it was an argument before it was a decision

01

A face that gets better over time, not worse

T700 carbon beneath a printed face. The pattern is printed onto the carbon and is the surface that meets the ball. The texture is designed in from the start, so the grip you feel on the first day is the grip the face is built to give.

02

Four hundred years of geometry

The Qutb Shahi rosette is lifted from the carved ceiling of the tombs north of Golconda, an eight-point star repeating out to the edge. It is etched into the thin polymer rather than printed on top of it, which means it is a texture and not a graphic. It bites the ball, and it cannot scuff off.

03

16mm thickness

16mm of polypropylene honeycomb. Thinner cores are quicker off the face and punish anything less than a clean strike; thicker ones forgive but go dead. Sixteen is the middle that lets a soft ball sit down at the kitchen line without giving up the drive.

04

One piece, no glued rim

Thermoformed as a unibody with foam-injected walls, so there is no edge guard screwed or taped around the rim. A glued rim is where a paddle delaminates first, and it is the reason most paddles rattle before they crack. Removing the joint removes the failure.

05

16 inches, on purpose

16 inches of length is long enough in the hand to defend a lob, wide enough in the face that a mis-hit still goes where you aimed. It is the shape you give somebody who plays every position on the court rather than one of them.

Materials

Built from things that are better in five years than in five minutes

T700 carbon

T700 carbon

Toray T700 raw carbon fibre, pressed and thermoformed. It is the best for power and control during gameplay, and balanced when you need it to be, at the kitchen.

Thin Polymer

Thin Polymer

Thin polymer, textured and bonded to the carbon face. It grips the ball for spin and touch, from a soft dink at the kitchen to a full drive from the baseline.

PP Honeycomb

PP Honeycomb

Polypropylene honeycomb core, cut to profile and pressed between the faces. It absorbs the shock of impact and quiets vibration, so the paddle stays steady in a fast exchange at the net.

Questions

About this piece specifically, not the drop in general

Does it come in more than one grip size?
No. The handle is turned to a single 4.25-inch circumference. It is the size the hybrid shape was built around; a sleeve or overgrip takes it up a fraction for a larger hand.
Is it legal for tournament play?
Yes. It carries USAPA or USAP approval — the certification line is in the spec table above.
Does the edition number affect how it plays?
No. Every paddle in the run is pressed from the same mould and finished to the same spec — the number records its place in the run, not a difference in the piece.
